RUD, a German founded company in 1875 has been family owned for more than 100 years and is reputed to be one of the most modern chain facilities in the world.

is a foolproof lifting chain with a 25% - 50% higher working load limit than the highest quality of grade 80 chain. Powder coated with a flourescent pink colour for high visibility and considerably higher surface protection compared to normal zinc plating.

    VIP Overheating Indication
    The pink powder coating changes its color when being used at temperatures above 392°F (200°C). If the chain is heated above 752°F (400°C), the color of deep black showing small bubbles would appear and should be taken out of service.

    Indentification Tag with Multi-Function:
    Easy examination of the three wear areas for sling chains (wear of diameter, elongation and overloading) by the shape of the patented identification tag. The test data can be documented on the tag.

    VIP-Foolproof Assembly in Mecano System:
    Area "X" avoids connection of a larger VIP-chain. VIP-stamped chains are manufactured with tighter tolerances in the inner width (Area "W1"). Area "Y" avoids the connection of the next smaller VIP-chain. Only VIP chains and components having the same working load can be used.
